ACSA Presents ‘Snowmobiler Of The Year’ Award Winner at ISC 2017 in Winnipeg!

On June 10th, during the 49th International Snowmobile Congress, ACSA had the pleasure of presenting our annual awards to deserving recipients that have shown continued leadership and dedication to organized snowmobiling at all levels.

The ‘Snowmobiler of the Year’ Award was presented to Kirk Pohill of Lena, Il. Kirk has served in many positions from local to state and to the national level. He’s involved at every level: map ad sales, landowner contacts, trail builds/teardown, grooming, club promotion and more.

The purpose of the Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs, Inc., is to stimulate and advance the general welfare and safety of the sport of snowmobiling, to serve the interest of snowmobile owners, to assist such owners against discriminatory legislative regulations and burdensome taxation, to develop a fraternal spirit among local snowmobile and other sport enthusiasts, to provide a medium for exchange of snowmobiling information, protect, conserve and develop the natural resources of the State of Illinois coincidental to the use and enjoyment of snowmobiles.
